I just read the account that this post links to - after coming over to your blog to say thank you for your comment on my first feminism post. Firstly, your comment made me reflect hugely on the comparative 'equality' that I take pretty much for granted. And of course, while my reading means that I know something of the massive inequalities elsewhere around the world, I don't feel that I know enough to be qualified to write about it. Secondly, the account of 'a fellow blogger' is extraordinarily powerful - in the observations made and questions asked and raised, especially as I read it soon after posting an interview with someone who describes himself as a male feminist. There's a great deal of food for thought here.
